MiMed – Where Information Meets Access in Healthcare
MiMed is a patient-focused platform created to improve access to clear, trustworthy medical information across the Dominican Republic. Its mission is to make reliable health resources easier to find by offering a comprehensive online directory where users can search for medical specialists, health-related terms, and care centers across the country.
A key feature of MiMed is its consultation tool, which allows users to submit health-related questions and receive answers from a general physician directly on the platform. Patients can also leave reviews for registered doctors—providing valuable feedback and helping others make more informed decisions about their care.
Building the Brand Behind a Purpose-Driven Platform
Our work with MiMed began at its inception, developing its branding and visual identity before extending it to the website and social media presence. We recognized early on that MiMed wasn’t just another medical directory—it aimed to address a common gap in the healthcare system: the difficulty of accessing reliable information and finding the right care providers. Its mission was clear: to offer patients a more trustworthy and straightforward way to search for medical specialists and relevant health resources.
With that in mind, we built a visual and content ecosystem where MiMed could reflect community, trust, and clarity in every touchpoint—from its web design to its graphic content. We crafted a friendly tone of voice and introduced a varied color palette to bring visual diversity to the platform and reflect the range of medical specialties and topics across its social media.
Informing, Engaging, and Building Trust Online
We produced the website copy, branded corporate presentations, and a consistent stream of educational and community-focused posts for MiMed’s social media platforms—while also overseeing MiMed’s day-to-day interactions with its community.
One standout initiative was the recurring campaign “Featured Specialist of the Week,” which spotlighted doctors who received consistently positive reviews on the platform. By sharing their profiles, the campaign helped build trust between patients and healthcare providers, offering followers a reliable starting point for future consultations.
